Philippines - I am loved, forgiven, and blessed
This is how I feel when I visited the Kamay ni Hesus shrine and I am very thankful for this wonderful experience together with my family.
The Kamay ni Hesus Shrine is a popular and one of the amazing travel destinations, the pilgrimage site located in Lucban, Quezon Province, Philippines. It is known for its 50-foot statue of the Ascending Christ and the Healing Church where healing masses are celebrated by the known healing priest Fr. Joey Faller.
The shrine is situated on top of a hill and has a beautiful view of the surrounding area. Visitors can climb the 300-step staircase leading to the statue of Christ and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way 12.
Lucban, Quezon is one of the most visited places in the province of Quezon because of the Pahiyas Festival and the most popular pilgrimage site of the Kamay ni Hesus.
The Kamay ni Hesus Shrine is also known for its miraculous healing masses by Fr. Joseph Faller who is also the founder of this beautiful place, and 300+ steps hill that leads to Risen Jesus Christ statue.
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as helped his people and continue to help them.
Steps in the Rising Christ
Going to the peak of the hill - rising Jesus Christ or Kamay ni Hesus will take 300+ steps and along the way you can reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus by doing a station of the cross.
I and My family journey to the top it saw amazing, challenging, and very worth it. The 50-foot Risen Jesus Christ and hands spread out statue is so big when you reach the top of it you will feel loved, forgiven, and blessed. And I can say when I reach the top ang saya ko, I feel loved more, napaluha, natuwa, and blessed. I can say I have mixed emotions at that time.
Mary Mother & Water Falls
At the bottom of the beautiful landscape of waterfalls, you can see a wishing pond. And it is also a perfect place for picture taking.
Noah's Ark & Pastoral Convention

At the side of Noah's Ark, you can see a Japanese koi fish pond and kids will enjoy also feeding the fishes.
The Wall of Prayers/Wishes
Different Saints Statue
Play Ground
This perfect place will enjoy also by kids because of its animal theme playground. I am sure they will enjoy and love it.
WHAT TO BUY:
Inside and outside the Kamay ni Hesus premises, there are different stores where you can find and buy different religious items, foods, and more, which is the perfect pasalubong for your loved one.
Kamay ni Hesus Souvenir Store
Lucban Longganisa
This aromatic and garlic flavor Lucban Quezon longganisa tastes good. Always been my favorite type of longganisa. You can buy this for the price of Php 75.00 for a short one and Php 140.00 for the long one.
Pancit Habhab
My favorite dish - Lucban’s signature dish Pancit Habhab. Your visit to Quezon Province will not be complete if you don't buy and taste this food. Pancit Habhab is usually served on a piece of banana leaf and is eaten without the use of any utensils. Each serving is only worth Php 15.00.

HOW TO GET THERE:
If you are coming from the Metropolitan, you have to condition yourself for a long long drive to get to Kamay ni Hesus Shrine. You can choose different routes that are available in your travel, and you can use also different apps or search to Google for the best route in going there. For suggestion only, use the application Waze to give you an idea of the best perfect route for your road trip.
Own Private Car (via South Luzon Expressway or via Antipolo)
1. Take the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and exit at Calamba. Before you reach the town of Lucban, you will have to pass through the numerous towns in Laguna including Los Baños, Bay, Victoria, Pila, Sta. Cruz, Pagsanjan, Cavinti, and Luisiana. The Shrine is one kilometer away from Lucban town proper.
2. Go to Antipolo and you will pass through Teresa, Morong, Baras, Mabitac, Pangil, Pagsanjan, Cavinti, and Luisana.
On our trip, we decided to use the route via Antipolo to prevent road traffic via SLEX.
On Public Transportation (via Manila-Sta. Cruz-Lucban)
Different bus terminals located in Cubao, Espana, or Buendia-Taft Avenue offer daily trips to Sta. Cruz, Laguna. The travel time is approximately three hours of travel. Alight at Sta. Cruz and take a jeep bound for Lucban. Kamay ni Hesus Shrine is about 15 to 20 minutes away from the town proper by tricycle.
On this trip with my family, we enjoyed too much and we reflect on all the sacrifices of Jesus Christ to us.
HAPPY TRIP & GOD BLESS US
